Shock:  Dengue shock syndrome results when plasma extravasation leads to hypotensive states in a patient. This is a medical issue, and as such, it must be handled immediately. The main goal can be formulated as follows: to stop the development of mild dengue to severe, which can be achieved through the identification of early symptoms and signs that, if intervention is taken at an early stage, can greatly minimize the death rate associated with severe dengue.
